Short Story Competition

There is great excitement among the committee members and judges to see what gems this year's con goers will offer.  The Convergence Prize has been awarded to some authors who have gone on to become great names in the science fiction literary scene.  Could you become the winner this year?

Rules are shown below for entrants for this year's competition.

The Convergence Prize this year will be presented by that well known author and poet and Convergence Prize winner in 2002, Kilgore Trout and will, as usual, be an engraved hexagonal metal plate.

Trout's classic 2002 short story was L.U.C.I.   L.U.C.I. is being serialised on this site in the run-up to this year's convention.

Previous year's winner:  Last year's Convergence Short Story competition was won by William Caldecott.
